Frigidaire 36'' Island Hood

bought this 2 years ago. the button control started being intermittent almost right away. Kept using it - I figure no more than 30-40 times at most. Finally stopped working completely - no fan, no lights. Not worth the money

This vent is fantastic and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have mine over an island cooktop and although it can get loud, I’d prefer a little noise than having any smoke/steam hit my ceiling... that would be far worse to clean!

I have purchased 2 of these now, for kitchen remodels. Love the look and performance of the hood. Its time I installed though, did think I had any hardware enclosed. Had to call service center and they did send me the hardware, but this set me back a good week to finish the install. During the installation when I got to running the duct worked, realized the hard ware was with the vent adapter. Wish someone would have told me when I called.

We bought a brand new house and this adds the perfect touch to make it feel gourmet and grand! Plus the dimmer lighting allows us to use it as a night light during the evening.
