Frigidaire 27'' Double Electric Wall Oven

When my 33 year old Kitchen Aid Double Oven stopped working this summer I This needed to replace it ASAP. I had only used my new Frigidaire a few time when I noticed how dirty it looked. I had broiled in it maybe 4 times? After I ran the self clean I was so disappointed in the results. I called Frigidaire and was told that I just needed to wipe up the residue and perhaps soak the rest off. I told her the residue wouldn't wipe off since I couldn't even scrape it off with my fingernail, I also tried soaking the mess but it's still there. I'm going to run the self clean feature again and hope for better results. I broiled in my Kitchen Aid many times without the mess and the smoke detector going off like this one does and when I did a self clean all there was left was a small amount of white ash. I was very excited about getting new ovens but was so disappointed that these didn't come near to comparing with my old Kitchen Aid Ovens.And the ovens take a very long time to heat up and the fan is the noisiest thing ever! Any suggestions

Nice exterior and controls but it takes forever to preheat and the fan noise of the upper unit is loud and irritating.. Fan seems to run forever!

I bought this 2 months ago. Ovens are slow to preheat. Now ovens are not working at all. Panel works, clock works.I have been trying to call Fridgidaire and telephone numbers in owners manual and the number you listed here are answering machines. My next step is to go back to Lowes and see how they can help me contact a technician for help.

Purchased a new construction home and this oven was built into the kitchen. Was happy about that since I had the identical one in my previous home and was very pleased with it. 1st time I used it my husband & I both noticed the fan is VERY loud. Gave it a couple uses hoping it would quiet down on it's own .... didn't happen. Frigidaire sent service technician who replaced the fan ..... same issue, it's loud. Asked that Frigidaire allow me to exchange it for the next model 'up' in their line. They state fan isn't loud, per repair man and are not wiling to do anything.....I'm so disappointed, since my previous oven wasn't loud at all.

I just installed this recently. I am very pleased so far. Too early to review any farther.
