We bought this refrigerator in 1/2021 and the refrigerator is not cooling. seriously when are these manufacturing companies going to make something that lasts? we paid #3,400 and having other Bosch products very disappointing we didnt purchase the extended warranty.

While the freezer has good accessible space the refrigerator interior space is compromised by the ice maker. I was in a pinch to replace aKitchenaide that broke after 5 years. Hoping this unit lasts longer.

New problem-water randomly pouring out of the door

My refrigerator was purchased 5 years ago for new construction and has been in use for 3-1/2 years. I have always been a fan of Bosch dishwashers, and assumed their other appliances would be as durable and quiet. I have had several bad issues with the over the range microwave, HMV5053/U1, but the other appliances have worked great until this week. On two occasions, water has poured out of the ice/water dispenser in the door when no one was near it. The first time we weren't home and came home to find a lot of water on the floor. We were at a loss as to what happened. The second time we saw it pouring out. It ran for about 45 seconds and stopped. This put enough water on the floor to drench 3 beach towels. Bosch doesn't have an answer and I'm worried now that it will happen while we are away and ruin our floors. On a positive note, we have had no problems with our range or dishwasher.

Not Enough Ice & Water

So far the refridgerator works. I am disappointed with Water & Ice dispenser. To get the water or ice to respond to my touch on to selector is not easy. You have to touch it 2 or 3 times and other times only once. I don't think it was engineered or built right. Not happy

Disappointed with Bosch, Multiple Failures

Our refrigerator/freezer combination had 3 failures in quality of materials that caused operational failure since purchased approximately 3 years ago. First, the water dispenser stopped working. Problem was found to be the water resevoir heating element failed, so the resevoir contents froze. Furthermore, the freezing of the resevoir contents caused the resevoir housing to crack, causing water to leak periodically into the refrigerator base. Third, the lower airflow valve in the back of the refrigerator failed, caused by a cheap plastic shaft housing that cracked in half, Thus the refrigerator contents were continually freezing because the failed air valve assembly was directing too much freezer air into the refrigerator fresh foods section. Moving freezer and refrigerator temperatures to max temp did not help. Too many failures for a fairly new refrigerator. I now seriously question Bosch quality, and wonder if they build their own components or source them elsewhere. If elsewhere, then maybe time to review the vendor certification process they use.
