Frigidaire Professional 22.2 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator

We bought the Professional series of appliances for out new home. We really liked the slide in gas range so we wanted all of the other appliances to match. I had to have several refrigerators delivered before I got one without any defects. One would not cool at all and the others could not be leveled or had damage. The one I have now looks great and has been working perfectly for about 4 months. Aside from my initial problems I like the refrigerator very much. The smudge proof stainless steel is great and I love the LED lighting. It seems to have plenty of room for my family even though it is a counter depth model. The side by side model is also a much better value than the french door style. I have had side by side refrigerators for many years and find the design to be the best for me.

I liked the box for the 6 weeks I had it, until it quit working entirely. The pull out drawers in the fridge side made a horrible screeching sound when you pulled them out.

Ice Maker drops ice into door, but it doesnt dispense down to my glass. It gets hung up in the door container too frequently. If you keep asking for ice it dumps all over the freezer. Also I do not like the door design. Not enough space for gal. milk jugs or other tall items. Bottom of fridge door has tiny little shelves that hold nothing useful. I have looked at a competitor, and their door has 2 shelves for milk gallons. Wish I would have seen that first.

I was first looking for a French Door refridgerator. I found this wonderful side by side instead. Great lighting, nice and roomy, and the best feature of all is NO smudges or fingerprints on the stainless steel.
