The water from the dispenser is not cooled down; it is at room temperature. The saleswoman told us it was cooled down when we bought it. The thermostat controls(fridge and freezer) need to be adjusted to the high side in order to keep the food in the refrigerator (and the water jug) cool enough. What is going to be after couple years of use ? The cost of the filter is apparently vey high and not in stock at our Sears store. Apart from that we are very pleased with the product. On the other end there was not much choice for a side by side door for a 33'' opening. We do not like the models with the bottom freezer drawer; never really understood why this model type flood the market. regards Daniel Goudreault

I would recommend this product. The only problem we have is the ice maker. Sometimes leaks onto floor . Contacting supplier to see if they will come out to look at it. Weve only had it 4 months.

Overall, not a good value for the money

We purchased this model because of space limitations in our kitchen cabinet design/layout. We previously had a Kitchen-Aid bottom freezer which lasted 17 years. The location of the return vent in the fridge section causes condensation in the fruit/veggie crisper. The plastic/acrylic bins are a bit flimsy- I would have thought that the Kitchen-Aid bins would be of higher quality than that of its sisters Whirlpool and Amana. I do not see the incremental quality of the side-by-side Kitchen Aid warranting the higher price point vis a vis Amana, Whirlpool comparable models. The only advantage we can see is the ice unit on the freezer door which provides some additional freezer storage capacity

Love it
