Frigidaire 30'' Electric Range

I've had this product for about two years. The door handle hasn't stayed on longer than a week without falling off. The best is when both screws fall out and the whole front panel of the door (including the glass) slams into the ground. I have repaired it so many times that the handle will no longer hold the screw and I can't find a replacement part

Frigidaire Free Standing Range Mod#FFEF3016US. I have had this range since Sept 20, 2019 and have had problems with it from the beginning. When using the burners, they turn themselves off, even tho it shows they are still on. When trying to cook, it is very difficult when the heat goes away. I was boiling potatoes and as soon as it got to a boil, the burner shut off. I have had Frigidaire send out a repairman twice to fix this issue. Now I'm informed this is some safety setting on this appliance. It has ruined several items that I have tried to cook. I understand a safety element being installed. What I don't understand is how I'm supposed to cook on it, when the burners keep shutting off. I turn it on high and within a few minutes it shuts off. It's not just one of them but all of them. I have never heard of a safety element that doesn't let you use the range properly. I've only had this range since September and the 1st time I start using it was during the holidays. It took 2 1/2 hours to boil potatoes, because it was shutting off and I didn't know. This is ridiculous and I shouldn't have to cook like this..

We are in a place where we can only have an electric stove. I am an avid home cook that has used only gas ranges till now. I was very concerned about an electric stove with a flat glass cook-top. The pans are heavy and sometimes uneven on the bottom and I didn't want to damage a flat top or have uneven cooking. It is hard to find a good electric range with coils these days but this one showed up on-sale and we gave it a shot. I am happy we did. I have cooked up a storm both on the stove and in the oven over this month and all is very well! I read some reviews that complained about the little buttons in the center of the coil rings (they are apparently a safety requirement) saying that they caused their burners to turn off. I have not experienced anything like that; they are fine. They also make a nice little 'ping' every once in awhile when I hit them--it makes me laugh. I love the basic simplicity of the whole thing and the oven has plenty of rack spaces. I have not tried the oven cleaner yet. The only reason, this review is a 4 instead of 5 is that the finish on the stainless front looks a bit smeary no matter what we do to clean it. There was a TON of packing plastic tape wrapped around the whole thing when it was delivered and I think that affected the finish somehow. Functionally, it is definitely a 5! Well worth the low cost!

Bought it several month ago, Glad I did! Well worth the money spend.
