Frigidaire Gallery 24'' Built-In Dishwasher

We've owned the dishwasher for a several years now. Installation went south and the tech that installed it from home depot did not adjust the discharge hose properly and it left pools of washer in the bottom of it. After I adjusted it, that problem was solved. However, dishes still come out dirty around 20% of the time. I feel that if you go to load it up, you can't load it completely if you want your dishes to be cleaned. Another issue is the heating element. It's warped over time and it kicks up and has actually melted a part of the sprayer arm. The arm still works but if the element is kicked up it really starts to impede the path of the arm. I have to adjust that every so often too. Even using a rinse aide, there's still puddles of water left on dishes and so I'll need to dry them manually. I've found kicking the door open after a while on the drying cycle really helps the overall drying process.

I've owned this dishwasher #fgbd2438pw for a few years, every 4-6 months I have to replace the splash shields on the inside lower part of the door. They are poorly made and bend and flex everytime the lower rack is pulled out. I've contacted Frigidaire several times only to be told to call a service representative or I'm replacing the splash shields wrong. I will be sure the next washer I buy I look at this part and make sure what I buy is not a Frigidaire. Poor customer service and this unit is poorly made.

Worst dishwasher ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We bought this not quite two years ago. Before the first year was up, it was worked on twice due to it stopped working. The last time it was a bad control board. Now not even another year later, the same thing. Bad control board. We were offered a 30 % discount on parts only if we got them from them. Have called and emailed for a week. No further response. Looking for yet another new one. We are already out the 580 for the dishwasher and 85 for the repair call. Now we will be out ????? to replace this piece of junk. It does not clean, it does not dry.

We bought this dishwasher after renovating our kitchen and we absolutely love it!

i am so disappointed in the dishwasher I bought from Frigidaire. It is hard to load. The folding shelves were too small to hold anything. It will not dissolve the Finish detergent. I have tried everything humanly possible. My water is hot. My pressure is good. I called once and when I came back to phone the rep had hung up. He suggested Liquid Detergent. I use the the Finish spot remover. It worked fine until it just stopped dissolving the pods. Liguid detergent sat in the bottom. I need a service call . I have had no washer since July. My warranty good until Sept.
