No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the machine at Home Depot. First machine was dented, sent it back. Second machine looked good but after installation, got an error message and the machine stopped working. Called Bosch and they gave me a number to call for repair. Problem was that the service company does not service the area Of my home. I was given 4 or 5 other numbers, none service my area. After many calls and waiting on hold for several minutes each call a repaired was arranged. The service man found the tub leaked at a seam.
I sent in paper work required and in two weeks have not heard anything. I do not believe Bosch knows what customer service is.

This is the quitest dishwasher I have ever owned. I constantly look for the red light on the floor to see if it is really running. No more wet uncleaned dishs FOREVER!! And I only thought Bosch were good speakers!! LOL
