Washer that does not wash....

We purchased this washer and matching dryer 3 years ago. We couldn't be more disappointed. The washer does NOT wash the clothes. They come out as dirty as when they went in! Guess we should have read reviews closer. This machine may be good for city folks that never actually have any dirt or stains on their clothing. What a giant waste of money! Almost forgot, the circuit board was replaced twice in the first 18 months. We're going to give this thing away and find a unit that actually gets clothes clean!

VERY POOR PERFORMANCE

I have had my cabrio washer for a few years. From day 1, it does not get my clothes clean at all. In fact, some of my clothing items don't even get wet! Extremely long cycles, having to rewash and bleach some items, do not add up to energy savings. Deep tub makes it hard to empty items after the cycle unless you happen to be a chimpanzee. So, I'm stuck with an expensive and poorly performing machine - don't know who is writing the other glowing reviews.

I bought this washer 6 years ago & it worked fine for the most part except it left white residue on dark clothing so I had to start using warmer water & an extra rinse cycle to resolve the problem. Now there is water leaking on our floor after every wash? When I tried calling Whirlpool they wanted me to pay a $50. Fee just to speak to a service tech? Not impressed!! Never buying a Whirlpool again!

Expensive Fail - Riddled with Issues

Our hope was a top load would not have the mildew issues of a front load and that we could actually soak clothes when needed. You cannot actually soak clothes. You have to presoak in the sink if need and the spin cycle leaves you with mangled, twisted clothes. Sheets get ripped. you have to shake each peice before drying or you have to iron. Unfortunately, mechanically riddled with issues that have required visits from a senior tech at least 2x per year (fortunately, we have a plan that covers it). Now at year 6 it's been deemed "totalled" due to ball bearing issues. Unrepairable? 1300 + repair plan means it costs over 400/year to run this thing. From day one, washed clothes have completely dry spots or have pockets of dirt and soap on them. Lid is very touchy and has to be closed several times to register as shut. Off balances easily and then leaks. Very noisy even before the ball bearing issue. Ridiculously expensive which would have been fine if it had cleaned at all.
