Frigidaire 22.1 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator Bought 5 years ago 5 year ProTection plan from Lowes ! Water started to leak slowly on to the floor I called lowes after sitting on hold for 117 min. they tell me it is out of protection they would send some one out must pay out of pocket for everything , I just wanted to talk to a teck to see one was it worth paying someone to come out or is it something simple that I could fix. No help sent me to Frigidaire same as lowes worthless would send a repairman.

I have had this refrigerator for just over three years. I had to change the seal on the freezer last year. Then the service repairman said that the little vent door from the freezer to the refrigerator was stuck to "close." That meant that the refrigerator was not getting cold. So, he ordered the part and fixed it...that was 6 months ago. Now the refrigerator is experiencing freezing in SOME parts...the other parts are the correct temperature. It's crazy!

I bought this a touch over 3 years ago. Decided to buy a 3 year warranty along with it. Which conveniently ran out 2 weeks ago! About 6 months ago I had problems w/ the icemaker spitting the ice to the side which caused the fan to stop. The a few days ago the unit made a huge pop and quit. I unplugged it and plugged it back in which started it again. Had a repair guy come out and said the "sealing system" is failing and that's why you heard the loud pop. Pieces of metal from the compressor going into the lines. So now I have to go buy a new fridge that's only 3 years old. I will never buy this product again.

This model was in my condo when I purchased it in September 2015. According to Frigidaire it was purchased in April of that year & I am the first owner.I have changed the filter prior but last September I ordered one directly from Frigidaire and it was easy to install. I’ve been trying now for several months to change it but it will NOT come out. I’ve had others try to remove it and they cannot either. I have called customer service but they were no help. It seems I have to break the housing in order to replace the filter so I can continue to have a clean water supply. I’m very disappointed in Frigidaire!

After 2 years, water started leaking on the freezer side, never even used the ice maker, unit is placed well with space behind and above. Now damage on the floor. Reading other reviews product lines seem faulty, with cheep design, not lasting and leakage seems a regular thing with a lot of models from the manufacturer. Will not buy again.
